Bharatiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital has the Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU), which consists of 16 beds including a 4 bedded High Dependency Unit (HDU).

Spacious individual cubicles in the unit provide easy movement of staff & trolleys in case of Emergencies. Also, the privacy of each patient is maintained & minimum disturbance is caused due by other critically ill patients.

The Critical Care Team comprises round-the-clock services of qualified Intensivists, Resident Doctors, and highly efficient, experienced, and well-trained nursing & paramedical staff. A ratio of 2 patients to 1 nurse is maintained in the ICU and a ratio of 1:1 for patients requiring very intensive support and monitoring.

Cardiology & other Super Specialty Consultants are available whenever the need arises.

Facilities of Temporary Pacing, Haemodialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Sustained Low-Efficiency Dialysis (SLED) and Bronchoscopy by the bedside within the unit

Bedside facility of Portable X-Rays, 2D Echocardiography, Ultra-sound & Doppler studies

Various infection control practices in place for minimizing risk of hospital acquired infections

Proximity to OT Complex, Cath Lab and CT scan

Resuscitation equipment, maintenance of crash carts, defibrillator equipment & advanced airway devices

24x7 back-up of Pathology Services

All Emergency Medicines available at all times within the Unit.

Cardiac Emergencies like Acute Myocardial Infarction, Cardiogenic Shock

Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, pneumonia

Medically induced coma/ sedation to reduce pain and prevent secondary infections
